Charles Farley: How long have you been camming and what drew you to it?
Evan Matthews: "I started camming roughly 11 years ago. I could not believe my eyes when I 1st ran across the craigslist ad looking for new models. I honestly thought it was too good to be true! I've always loved working with people but I’ve never really had a knack for sales. I saw this as an opportunity to have fun while making some extra cash. I had no idea the actual potential."

CF: How have the relationships you’ve built on Flirt4Free changed your life?
EM: "Absolutely. I’ve met some of the coolest people and my closest friends on F4F! The incredible open and free environment makes it easy to connect with people that I otherwise wouldn’t have the chance to meet. I’m very thankful for the opportunity to meet some absolutely amazing individuals here!"

CF: How can a new fan catch your attention in chat? What are some Evan Matthews icebreakers you recommend? 
EM: "I’m particularly attracted to fans who are able to express the real portion of themselves. I get a lot of enjoyment out of entertaining and putting on a good show, but the true fire is ignited when real connection happens … which can only be the case when people get real and raw with one another. Whether that’s expressing one’s fantasies or sharing a story about themselves, I just really enjoy the honest real aspect of it all."

CF: What makes a great private show for you? How do you know when you and a new fan have made a connection? 
EM: "Again, I LOVE the connection! So the defining point of a good private show will be a GOOD conversation either before, during, or after. It's difficult for me to feel as if I delivered a unique experience unless I am able to connect on a deeper level. I want anyone that takes me private to be utterly surprised by the experience, in the best of ways. I want time spent with me to feel as if we are getting lost in it all. That's when I’m enjoying it most and when I’m enjoying it, I’m most likely putting out my best show."

CF: We’ve heard you say that sexuality is only a small part of being a camguy. Explain that sentiment. What % is physical? Emotional or mental?
EM: "Flirt is definitely a sexually oriented workplace, but not in the same way that many would believe prior to actually camming. I guess it depends on how one wants to approach it all, but I personally have found that there are a lot of emotional and mental factors. We are working with people that are looking to have a good time, experience something exciting and new … or just check things out. Either way, people are here to have fun and enjoy themselves. I see my chatroom similar to how I’d use a bar or any other meeting spot for friends. It's all about having a good time! So long as that is the goal, it’s hard to fail. People always gravitate towards the fun!"

CF: We love seeing you in our promos. Have you ever aspired toward acting? 
EM: "No, I haven’t had any particular passion to go into acting. I really love what I do now and I love the flexibility it allows me."

CF: The marketing team and your fans have raved about your dance moves. Where’d you pick them up?
EM: "When I was a teenager, I used to love going to the skating rink every weekend. At the end of the night, every Friday, we would all dance and have fun competitions with our skates and rollerblades on. I used to get so lost in it all and loved going crazy with the dance moves. I’m not exactly sure where I got my rhythm, but I fine-tuned it all during that phase of my life. Ever since then I’ve always taken opportunities to dance at clubs or wherever the mood aloud for it. I am extremely passionate about my physical health and love to push myself in the form of dance!"

CF: What is your proudest Flirt4Free moment?
EM: "I thought long and hard about this one and to be honest, I don't have just one. I have so, so, SO, many proud moments on Flirt. So much of my life has been changed for the better because of the people I have met and the experiences I have been gifted via F4F. All I can say Is that I wouldn't want my life any other way!"

CF: What about off-cam? What are your passions? What are your hobbies?
EM: "I'm very passionate about fitness, computer games and learning about the human mind and consciousness. After surviving a near-death experience and traumatic brain injury when I was 17, I guess you could say I’ve developed a bit of curiosity."

CF: Tell us about your tattoos. How old were you when you got your first? Any especially meaningful?
EM: "I started getting my tattoos when I was 18. The 1st one was in regards to the car accident I was in on March 12, 2005. I eventually added more and turned it into one giant piece. I always had a few ideas of what I’d want it to look like when it was finished and I’m personally happy with how it ended up. I have no regrets and love all of my tattoos."

CF: Were you hooked (on tattoos) right away, or did you get them slowly over time?
EM: "I ended up getting these done over the course of 10 years or so. Definitely a slow process!"

CF: What is your most memorable on-cam moment?
EM: "This is another tough one! I have met some amazing people here that have changed my life in the best of ways. I wouldn’t say there is just one memorable moment but MANY. It seems like every week something happens—a connection is made or an experience is shared—that just lights me up beyond imagination. This is a pretty awesome place to be."
